Returns & Refunds policy
We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase from Sucharu. We take great care in curating each handloom saree, and we want you to love it as much as we do. However, if you're not entirely happy, we've made the return process simple and transparent.
Eligibility for Returns & Exchanges
To be eligible for a return or exchange, your item must meet the following criteria:
Timeline: You must initiate the return or exchange request within 7 days of receiving your order.
Condition: The saree must be in its original, unused, unwashed, and undamaged condition with all original tags, labels, and packaging intact. We cannot accept returns for items that show any signs of wear, stains, or have had the tags removed.
Proof of Purchase: A copy of the original invoice or order confirmation is required to process the request.
Damaged or Incorrect Items: If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, please notify us within 24 hours of delivery. We will arrange for a free return pickup and offer a replacement or a full refund.
Non-Returnable Items
To maintain quality and hygiene, certain items are not eligible for returns or exchanges. These include:
Items that have been altered, customized, or made to order.
Sale or discounted items.
Return Process
To initiate a return or exchange, please follow these steps:
Contact Us:
Send an email to our customer support team at info@sucharu.co.in. with your order number, the item you wish to return, and the reason for the return.
Wait for Confirmation:
Our team will review your request and, if approved, will provide you with a Return Authorization (RA) number and further instructions on how to package and ship your return.
Pack the Item:
Securely pack the item in its original packaging. Write the RA number clearly on the outside of the package.
Ship the Package:
You are responsible for the return shipping costs. We recommend using a reliable courier service with a tracking number, as we are not liable for any items lost or damaged during return transit. For Sucharu’s errors (e.g., wrong item, size, or defective product], we’ll provide a prepaid shipping label for returns within India.
Refunds & Store Credit
Refunds:
Once we receive and inspect your returned item and confirm it meets the eligibility criteria, we will process your refund. The refund will be credited back to your original payment method. Please allow 5-7 business days for the refund to reflect in your account. Original shipping costs are non-refundable.
Store Credit:
If you prefer, we can offer store credit instead of a refund. This credit will be issued to your account and can be used for future purchases on our website.
Exchanges:
If you would like to exchange your saree for a different one, we will issue you a store credit for the value of the returned item. You can then use this credit to place a new order for the desired saree.
